Change/Energy Efficiency Awareness MonthEstablished in February
2000, the Governor's Points of Light Award
program recognizes those Florida residents and organizations that
demonstrate exemplary volunteer service to their community. Recipients
have ranged in age from 6 years to 101 years old. The common thread is
their love of their community and their belief that through
volunteering, they can make a positive impact. Their commitment is what
Governor Crist wants to recognize through the Points of Light Award
program.
2007 Small Business Award Council for Sustainable Florida
Sustainable Florida annualy recognizes businesses and organizations whose work demonstrates that of a healthy environment and a healthy economy.

2006 NAHB - Individual Advocate of the Year
Each year, NAHB honors an individual who has taken strides to bring green and sustainable home building practices to the mainstream, developed unique educational programs and/or marketing effort geared toward home builders or consumers, directly impacted the number of green homes constructed in the past, helped to transform the green home building industry through grassroots effort or campaigns, volunteered time to further green building, and should be recognized for lifetime achievement in green building.
